Our family comes here yearly for our family vacation. Usually it’s a breeze. After a 10 hour drive, we were all antsy to just get in and get settled. Communication from the host was slow. I asked about grocery delivery so I could get it delivered as we arrive, unfortunately that question never got answered. I asked about the check in process, but was told to reference the information previously sent. I had, but the information was unclear as it was stating two different things. I do feel communication could’ve been a lot better. The room was fine, as we don’t spend a lot of time inside. I think the only thing the host should mention to guests is that there is construction right next to you on a house build. We didn’t utilize the balcony much at all because of that. Other than that, Dunes Village itself is a great resort. Very family friendly with a lot to do. The location is great as there are many restaurants and stores just a quick drive down the road.

This condo was wayyy worth what we paid. I’m so glad we were able to find it on such short notice. Everything was perfect and as described. The cleanliness was top notch. Being on the 1st floor was nice as well! The owners were so friendly by offering to help with anything, if needed. Their communication was awesome, too. Our stay was amazing and we can’t wait to rent again.

We arrived on a Sunday night & all was great when we checked in. Woke up the next morning to noise outside our balcony, opened curtains to find workers right outside our unit with their scaffolding, ladders, ropes, etc. They remained there the entire time we stayed! So there was no enjoying our coffee on the balcony in the morning/oceanview. All the old paint chips fell like snow on our balcony & chairs. Not to mention the worst part was the very loud sanding/grinding tools used to wake us up each morning. We had to leave our unit daily & hangout elsewhere until 5:00 just to keep my 3yr old grandson from crying because he thought the “house/roof was going to break”! After a few days of headache, we took photos & videos of the daily turmoil to share with Andry & get some answers. We did get a quick response, but no real satisfaction claiming “unaware of the work being done?!” We would have given a better review, if we had actually had the “relaxing vacation” we had planned.
