The unit includes voice-controlled motorized curtains, an electric fireplace, a Sonos Beam for your favorite music, a Nest thermostat, and a Smart TV. Bathrooms offer guests classic Harbinger-style porcelain tiles, Simply Human soap dispensers, all-new showers with high-end Grohe fixtures, and frameless shower doors. Guests will love the hotel-style Bedroom accommodations with new mattresses and new wardrobes to easily organize their personal belongings. Step into our high-end kitchen with Black Stainless steel appliances, an Induction Cooktop, a newly integrated powerful vent hood, a dishwasher, a new induction-ready cooktop set, and all your cooking needs. For larger parties inquire about booking both side by side 3 Bedroom Penthouse units. Each space can accommodate up to 10 guests. To top it all off, the entire condo has high density sound damping panels installed throughout. You will not hear any noise coming from adjacent units. Notes
New cleaning protocols have been implemented throughout the resort. Housekeeping is using hospital grade cleaning sprays. The common area bathrooms are cleaned every 15 minutes. Hand sanitizing stations are installed in each elevator and throughout the resort. All staff are required to wear masks.
House Rules
* No pets allowed * No smoking in the unit or on the balcony * Quiet Hours 10PM - 9AM daily * Guests under the age of 25 will be required to place a $1,000 security deposit * Any under age drinking, smoking, or loud parties/events held inside the room will be held liable and the security deposit will not be refunded. The resort has strict guidelines and will hold the host (that's me) accountable.

Andrew’s place was perfect for our large group of 10! The location couldn’t have been any better, wake up and walk out to the beach or pool! Great views, great customer service from Ocean Reef and so many walkable options to grab food nearby!

Arrived and was overwhelmed by the smell of smoke in the condo. Had to open the doors to the balcony and leave until it cleared out some as no one on my family smokes. Host did adjust price after I reported it. Helium filled balloons, a pair of soiled underwear and a pan with old food was left in the unit by the previous guest. I had trouble figuring out how to use the dishwasher. Apparently you must select the cycle, hit start and then close the door of the dishwasher for it to start. The door to the balcony of the bedroom does not lock. There is a large build up of dust on the ceiling above the stove and the arms of the green chairs in the living area are very noticeably dirty. Just overall was not what I was expecting as we stayed in other condos at Ocean Reef Resort on several other occasions that were a lot cleaner. Oh and lastly, there is no ice maker on the refrigerator so fill the ice trays as soon as you get there.

Our condo reeked of marijuana after their stay. There are no smoking signs inside the units and in the house rules with a balcony just steps away, but smoked in the unit anyway. Airbnb hosts beware.

After a long flight, my wife and 3 children (5 and under) arrived at the airbnb, eager to settle into our cozy retreat. But, to our surprise, the place hadn't been cleaned since the previous guests departed. Trash, dirty towels, and messy sheets cluttered the space. With bedtime approaching, exhaustion creeping in, I called the host. They offered us the room next door, thinking it would be a suitable alternative. Unfortunately, it was in a similar state of disarray. Managing an Airbnb from a distance can certainly lead to some unexpected mishaps. To our disappointment, the host suggested we “take it up with Airbnb for a refund” instead of taking immediate responsibility. Imagine checking into a hotel and being told, "Sorry about the mess, but no room and no refund for you!" Not exactly the hospitality we had hoped for. Fortunately, our luck turned around when we stumbled upon a last-minute find nearby. We swiftly made our way to this new haven.

Pros: great resort with lots to do for kids! Staff at resort was top notch. Loved the banana boat cafe on the property! Highly recommend and excellent kids meal options. Beach access is easy and not a long walk. The beds were super comfy and the unit was clean. The value of the stay was excellent. Cons: the air conditioner can only be lowered to 70 degrees as there is a lock that won’t allow it to be below that temperature. Our family is used to our home being just a few degrees cooler. I messaged the host and asked the first night if there was a way to lower by one or two degrees. The host never responded. During our stay, an exterminator came in and accessed the unit without knocking or warning. We were there at the time and they were incredibly surprised to see us - said they thought no one was staying there. They left when they saw us. This concerned me as our teenage daughters were with us and could have been in the unit alone if my husband and I had been elsewhere.

We haven’t been to Myrtle Beach before, but had heard a lot of stories some good but also bad due to the potential crude or vulgar crowd that may frequent the area. There were definitely some customers staying at the resort that wore questionable clothing and not just at the pool! However the Beach was beautiful, the view and amenities were great, and this airbnb smelled and looked clean. The size was perfect for our family of 5, and could easily have slept more. The resort itself wasn’t fancy but it was enjoyable and my daughter had the BEST time in all the pools. This is a great value for the space and location. One thing to note that wasn’t a huge deal but just so you’re aware as it list “on premises”…the parking is across the street. We didn’t have issues as the garage was well lit but others staying had mentioned some issues with theft.
